• Environment: Red aromatic cedar grows widely throughout Eastern United States spreading rapidly by natural regeneration. 1. It is always important to use a shoe horn.  If you don’t, the back of your shoes may break down, shortening their life and diminishing comfort and appearance.
2. Excessive heat and water are injurious to leather.  When shoes are wet, insert aromatic red cedar shoe trees and let dry at room temperature.  The shape of your shoes will be restored.
3. Shoes need rest.  The same pair should not be worn two days in a row.  Changing shoes daily means longer wear and healthier feet.
4. Proper cleaning and polishing is important for preservation and appearance of your shoes.  Quality polish nourishes and protects leather and should be used regularly.  Cleaning your shoes periodically with saddle soap removes dirt, old polish, and some stains.  Cleaning also restores natural oils that keep leather pliable.  Aromatic red cedar shoe trees are great aid in shining shoes too.
