These dye kits are fantastic! I had a pair of shoes that I really liked, but I wished they were BLACK...intensely, coal mine, darkest midnight BLACK! I thought of paying to have a shoemaker color them, but then I saw the Tarrago kits and decided to give it a try myself. I covered the inside and sides of the soles with painter’s tape, followed the very easy instructions, and VOILLE!!! They are beautiful! Strangers actually bother to tell me how great these shoes look, and are amazed when I tell them they are not only dyed, but that I did it myself. I have bought several more kits in colors to dye for (pardon the pun) and am in the process of creating not only custom two tones , but also ( once again using painter’s tape) even geometric designs. All you have to do is let one color dry thoroughly and then add the next hue. Tarrago dye kits are so easy and give professional quality results that you wouldn’t believe possible outside a shoemaker’s shop. I love these things!
