Stretcher construction is very solid and well engineered. I bought this with the liquid shoe stuff and used it and it seems to have helped the stretcher do a nice job. Received my shoe stretcher very quickly in the mail and immediately put it to use.  It worked great, was simple to use and did the trick for a 4 pairs of shoes! This is an excellent product made of hardwood instead of plastic. It is well worth the price. I have stretched my shoes and now they are so much more comfortable. The stretching seems to relieve the pressure on my hammer toe.

I love this stretcher. I've seen some that are made in China advertised by some other websites. I'm so much more sold on the Made in USA since I got this stretcher to work on all my shoes and is still in perfect shape and no plastic parts in it. The stretching spray seemed to have softened the material too.
